The idea for the Healthy Baby Boutique came from realizing that there was a need for a children's store in the area. When Kendra Morford and her family, Lonnie & Lynn, moved back to the area she began looking around for places to shop. It soon became clear that the availability of healthy children products were limited at best. Having always wanted to open a store of her own she put her business and marketing degree to work and soon opened the store.

Healthy Baby Boutique offers unique products ranging from cute organic clothing to wooden toys to handmade blankets. Before opening the store breastfeeding moms would have to drive to Wichita to buy Medela breastfeeding supplies and pumps. HBB offers one of the largest selections of cloth diapers in the state also.

When it came to the design of the store Lonnie and Kendra thought about what they would want as a parent. It was decided that some of the key factors were wide uncluttered spaces to move easily with a stroller, an awesome play area for the kids, a bright and friendly feel, and a family friendly bathroom with change table. Parents love bringing their children in to shop rather then dreading the experience. At Healthy Baby Boutique the entire focus is on the healthy family. Kids are always welcome to play here.
